The first English translation of Viktor Shklovsky’s children book Journey to the Land of Movies, originally published in 1926 in Russian. The book, including Dimitry Mitrokhin's original colour illustrations, tells the story of twelve-year-old Kolya's journeys in the US. While travelling he experiences inequality and exploitation, and at the same time learns how films are made, and in which way movie industry operates. Translated from Russian by Mikko Viljanen, it is edited and introduced by Sezgin Boynik and Jyrki Siukonen. Designed by Ott Kagovere.
